NEW Youth Protection Training Requirements
NEW Youth Protection Training Requirements for ALL registered Scouters Before the Next Recharter
Youth Protection Training is required for all registered volunteers.
New leaders are required to take Youth Protection Training before they submit their application for registration. The certificate of completion for this training must be submitted at the time application is made and before volunteer service with youth begins.
Youth Protection Training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection Training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be reregistered.
Overheating. Avoid it . Clothes will stay drier & warmer
Layers, Rely on loose, light layers for the greatest range of adjustment
Dry, use protective layer to shiel clothing from external moisture
Examine Regulary, pay attention to the conditions of your clothing
Repair Quickly. take care of tears, brken fasteners, frayed edges and other damage as soon as you notice them. duct tape is ideal for temporary patches in the field.
January 15th at 8pm Scout trip to the Copernicus Observatory on the Central CT State University campus in New Britian
December 18th to 19th camp out in Union Ct has been cancelled
On November 5, 6, & 7 we will be participating in this event. We'll be camping out. This will be an event to help the boys earn more merit badges
the weekend of October 16 & 17 we will be having our Holiday fest. We have invited the Webelos from Pack 61 to join us in our over night camp out. Also, the rest of pack 61 has been invited on sunday to join in our fest.
On Sept 28 We wil be having our Court of Honor for the boys who earn merit badges during summer camp
Sunday Sept 26th Car Wash at Sunset Ridge from 10 am to 2 pm
